Today we showed our solos in modern class with Megan. I loved seeing how everyone else’s choreography built to this final phrase they made. After class I went filming in the park with Ana. It was pretty fun to just goof around in the trees, on benches, in pavilions, with birds. We really just had a great time dancing around and enjoying the beautiful day that we were given. Above is one of my favorite shots that we took because it just shows how incredibly weird and ridiculous I am. It honestly makes me thankful for being who I am because I don’t think I would be able to live a miserable life like other people that I do witness. I can’t deal with being serious all the time even when I am filming for a school project. Yes of course there are serious times but if you don’t let loose and be yourself in front of a camera then how will I be able to reflect who I am in my dance reel at the end of this trip? It just got me thinking about how its so great to be weird, to have fun even if it means dancing around a tree or sitting in the grass to play with a flower.
